Sweet Cardamom Almond Swirls

Makes 12-24 rolls
 
1 Bag Sturdiwheat Sweet Cardamom Bread Mix
4 oz. unsalted butter – cut into 32 pieces, rub into mix
2 eggs
¾ cup warm water…mix in yeast and then stir into dry ingredients until well mixed
Chill dough 4 hours
Roll out dough into 18”x 12” rectangle
 
4 oz. Almond Paste
1 oz. Unsalted Butter
2 Tbsp. Raspberry Jam
Cream together and spread over rectangle leaving one long end open,
Roll up from opposite long end into a long log.
Cut into 12 or 24 pieces. Place each piece into a muffin paper and place on a cookie sheet or in a muffin tin. Let rise 20-40 minutes.
Bake 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Cool and drizzle on glaze
 
 
Glaze:
1 Cup Powder Sugar
2 Tbsp. Milk

1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
