Hello fellow Drag Racing fans! I’m excited to announce a partnership with Antron Brown Motorsports and Sturdiwheat Pancake Mix. Here is some background on how we arrived here today.
In 1996 Sturdiwheat was a small local Red Wing, MN business and had a family interest in drag racing. We added Sturdiwheat to the side of our car to promote what we think are the best pancakes made to the race fans and campers at the track. We took the car to the local grocery stores sold our pancake mix near the races we were attending. We had a 1-800# and would fill mail orders to customers and fans who were outside our store coverage. We ended up with a some amazing loyal customers and fans from all across the country that were Drag Racing fans. They are still ordering today and mentioning in the comments how they found out about us at a drag race back in the 90s!
Sturdiwheat has grown since the 2000s and we have continued to be NHRA fans and wondered how we could reach back out to those fans while supporting the sport we all love. Here’s the problem. Drag Racing is expensive and Pancake mix is. . .well. . . a lot less expensive. Can you guess how many 2 lb. bags of mix you need to sell to buy one crankshaft?. . . Me neither but you get the point. Enter Antron Brown and the expansion of web based sales. Antron is a new team owner for 2022 and we recognize and respect the business risk drag racing enthusiasts take to be at the track and wanted to be part of it. I believe we have found the right recipe.
The Bottomless Breakfast subscription we hope will connect more people with our pancake mix and keep a reasonable amount of the essential breakfast staples stocked in their cupboards year round. As we grow our subscriber list the support to Antron Brown Motorsports also grows, solving two problems while supporting the sport we all love.
