Who said Chicken and Waffles? We sure did!

Yes, we climbed on the bandwagon! Don’t knock it ’till you try it! Have some fun with this for dinner tonight.

We just couldn’t believe this tasted so good. No need to dine out for this combo!

Team up our delicious easy Sturdiwheat Waffle Mix and our Cajun Coating Mix for this creative and tasty meal. Hey no problem if the kids just want the waffles, that leaves more of the chicken for you to enjoy with every bite! Add a little maple syrup and wah – laah…sweet, a tad of salty and just the right amount of spice to give it a kick.

Your family will request this dish for lunch or dinner… maybe even breakfast!!

Prepare chicken tenders with the coating mix as directed on the package of Sturdiwheat’s Original Coating Mix or the Cajun flavored, if you like a little a kick!

Cook as directed. While chicken is cooking, prepare the Sturdiwheat Waffle Mix according to the package directions and let sit 3-5 minutes.

When chicken tenders are done set aside on a platter in a 250 degree oven to keep warm.

Preheat a  waffle maker and ladle batter on the waffle maker and cook as directed by manufacturer. When done you can also keep the waffles warm in a 250 degree oven until ready to assemble! (By the way we used the Presto Belgian Waffle Maker)

Plate one waffle, layer  2 cooked chicken tenders on top and drizzle with our Sturdiwheat Maple Blend Syrup.

Dig in!! Chicken – Waffles…that’s what we’re talking about!

Hey! Next round try our Almond Pecan Pancake Mix for the waffle. Oh I bet that would be just nutty!
