Is it true …are we really going to see more SNOW?
Well we know it won’t last much longer…haha…but let’s think spring and remember May Baskets!
Do you remember making cone shaped May Baskets out of bright colored construction paper, using your favorite colors from your crayon box, decorated with your art work? You attached a pretty ribbon, went out and picked wild violets or baked some sweet treats, put them in the baskets and off you went to the neighbors to sneak it on their door knob before anyone saw you. You rang the door bell and ran as fast as you could so they wouldn’t catch you. If they did catch you… they kissed you! It was fun trying to get away and keep a secret whose door you went to.
Tomorrow is May1st…bring back a tradition or with this May SNOW, invite your neighbors for a fun breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sturdiwheat products are so easy and delicious, your neighbors and family will love it!

Hey Hot Cakes!
Just returned from a 50th birthday celebration at Two Bear Farm in Ohio. Gail and Scott (birthday boy) had 200 guests for the celebration. And served breakfast for two days to 30 people. (And lunch, and dinner.) The breakfast hit? Sturdiwheat Almond Pecan Walnut Pancakes. Also omlettes for the whole group! He prepared them on an outdoor griddle. Soooooo good! Everyone loved the pancakes for sure. Kids and Adults – Pancakes are a favorite. (And I must say the other food was great too.)
There is something special about waking up on the farm and smelling bacon and breakfast filling the air. It was a great weekend, filled with food and friends. And Sturdiwheat played its part. What could be easier than Sturdiwheat if preparing pancakes for 30? And come to think of it, what could be easier than Sturdiwheat if preparing pancakes for 2 or 4 or 6? Just add water! It actually IS that simple.
Scott loves cooking for his guests, and he surely has it all in hand for large numbers of guests. Large flat griddle outside . . . Large Grill outside . . . and has honed the way to make it easier. Including Sturdiwheat. Check out the other great products too!
This is the place to read about everything Sturdiwheat and stay up to date on happenings here in Red Wing, MN. There will be talk about new products, recipes, nutrition information, ideas, and the incredible benefits of Sturdiwheat cereals, pancakes, bread, and other products.

70 years of happy mornings! Now THAT’s a record. And it keeps on giving.
This morning I:
- took out the griddle, turned on the flame. Set it on medium high (works perfectly for me.)
- Mixed Sturdiwheat original pancake mix with an equal amount of water – let it sit for a minute.
- Spooned it onto the griddle.
- Flipped them.
- Poof! SO quick and SO good.
Oh – And did I mention that these are healthy cakes? Oh yeah!
Now Hey! Is there anything better on a cool spring morning (30F this morning) than some delicious, healthy, pancakes with your favorite toppings? Yum.
And these pancakes are REALLY yummy. Has anyone tried them? They are offered online or in some local markets. (The markets are listed online.) Visit Sturdiwheat on the web.
Let me know if you have tried it.
