When serving I pour warm caramel sauce over the top along with a little bit of whip cream.  Now if that doesn&#039;t say comfort food!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Orange cranberry pancakes

1 cup Sturdiwheat pancake mix
1 cup water
1/2 tsp orange zest
1/4 craisins (dried cranberries)

Soak craisins in a bit of warm water for 1/2 hour.  (this step can be omitted if you are in a hurry)
Mix all ingredients together.
Wait 1minute.
Make pancakes.

Garnish with twist of orange slice.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Banana Bread Pancakes

2 Cups Sturdiwheat Pancake Mix
2 Cups Water
1 very soft banana
1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice

1 cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp dark rum

Puree banana and spices in blender
Remove puree to batter bowl
Add pancake mix, water and nuts.
Stir well and let sit one minute.

Make pancakes as normal.

Between flipping cakes, heat maple syrup in small saucepan.
Add butter and rum to syrup when syrup is warm.

Garnish cakes with sliced bananas and orange slices.
Pour syrup over cakes.

Smile with pleasure.

These pancakes are also tasty with peanut butter (with or without jelly) or vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I take fresh peaches and saute with a little butter and brown sugar on the stove. Then I add the apple crisp topping and put it under the broiler for a few minutes (watching closely as not to burn) and serve immediately with Ice cream.  I do this in small batches so I can make some in a pinch when company arrives unexpectedly.
