I love having my kids at home, so we can spend time together. We go to local festivals, or just visting friends. We can also have breakfast together, as before school there isnt much time for a big breakfast. We love Sturdiwheat original or banana pancakes, with eggs and sausage. Its nice to have us all together as a family.
Strawberries, blueberries, peaches, raspberries and cherries…They all come together in July. They go with and on everything from Sturiwheat. They top crepes and Swedish pancakes, mix in all the regualr mixes, even the flavored ones. They get topping and syrup Yum! It’s a favorite time up north with fruit festivals everywhere. One of our favorites is the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City Michigan. Mix fresh and dried cherries in everything.
After swimming and boating with grandkids all day, we all enjoy fresh foods of summer!

I love July. I think about my youth and remember all of the fun I had. No school, lazy days, hanging out with friends….just being myself. I really love the fact that not much has changed…only the things that needed to. A lot more work, half as many lazy days, fewer friends but better ones and really being myself. I have really learned to appreciate the phrase… AHH SUMMERTIME!
July is America at it’s best…baseball, picnic’s, time at the beach, vacations, and familys getting together. With the kids out of school we get to spend more time with our grandkids. Planning for the BWCAW trips and always making sure we have plenty of Sturdiwheat pancake mix…the original blend is our favorite.
I love July for the wonderful produce offered by our local growers at farmers’ market. Mostly, I love July because in a couple of months, it will be FALL!!!!
While July may be one of the hotter times of the year it is also when the fresh fruits and vegetables make their apperance. And the heat isn’t that much of a problem–we just get up a little earlier and get things done before it gets hot. All in all July is a great time of year.
July provides us with vacations, long days, opportunity to get together with family and friends. Was able to canoe in the boundary waters, visit Ely during their Blueberry festival, spend a couple of days at parents cabin, and just get time off from work. Glad July has 31 days – but it flies by fast !
The best thing about July is the subway is empty and I get a seat going to work. No school kids an a lot of people on vacation.
My favorite part of July is that the lakes are finally warm enough to swim in and weekends bring family and friends close! Which means I get to cook Sturdiwheat pancakes in the mornings for everyone! In the evenings a defiinte favorite is fried fish with original and cajun fish coating! I keep a lot of this on hand because once people taste it, they want some to take home! I’ve even sent it to Alaska in care packages.
July…savoring my Sturdiwheat pancakes with hand picked wild blueberries at the picnic table overlooking the lake in Northern Wisconsin. Real maple syrup and a cup of coffee round out a perfect morning!
July holds a ton of activities for us. We have a 24th birthday and a twin b-day on the 25th, too! Then there’s the cabin and the berries and the grilling and the boating and the sleeping in. We frequently have breakfast for dinner. Some frozen blueberries thrown in the banana pancake mix makes incredible waffles!! My griddle just bit the dust, too..
Best thing about July is my mom, myself, and my daughter were all born in July. 3 Generations of July birthdays.
I love the smell of fresh mowed hay and dew in the grass in the morning. I love sitting on the deck and drinking my coffee watching the birds and listening to the horse whinnie for his morning grain. I love the peace of my morning Bible reading, fresh air and a world still calm. Life is good and God is great!
Company will be up soon, Sturdiwheat pancakes will be on the griddle and all hell will break loose
The 4th of July is the biggest reason I like the month, Independence Day fireworks hell yeah!!!. The sons and my birthdays are in July and the corn should be knee high.
July is a great month, because it reminds me of my mother, born July 1st. This July some os our family was taken on a trip to England, France, Switzerland and Italy and it was the month of a dream come true. Yes, God made this a July to never forget this year!!!!
What’s not to love about July! It’s right in the middle of summer, the weather is hot and sticky, my 3 children are home and we have plenty happening! Usually the strawberries are in and the picking will happen. My girls are amazing strawberry pickers at the ripe old age of 11. Four heaping flats later and we are heading home to take care of the berries. Freezer jam is made, great for topping ice cream, pancakes and toast. (Maybe even Sturdiwheat crepes!) We must make some sauce and at least one strawberry rhubarb pie.
4th of July is when our family spends time together, swimming, picnicking and of course fireworks.
Time is our friend in July. Time spent with family and friends along the river bank keeping cool and making memories. Spending time with friends camping, laughing and not thinking about anything more important than that moment. It’s the month when school is over and we aren’t thinking about fall and the new school year quite yet.
Life is good in July!
JuLy FiReWoRks, local town celebrations, parades, water sports, boat rides and hanging with good friends!
