Sturdiwheat – So easy – Take a look at what it costs to get breakfast on the table.
We compared our Original Sturdiwheat Pancake Mix to another premium pancake mix available from your supermarket and online. Premium “added” ingredients were used in the pricing comparison. The costs of ingredients were found at a local supermarket on May 7, 2013. The amount of dry product used (7.715 oz) is the equivalent to the amount of dry mix called for in the competitor’s instructions. Makes 10-15 pancakes depending on the size.

Is it true …are we really going to see more SNOW?
Well we know it won’t last much longer…haha…but let’s think spring and remember May Baskets!
Do you remember making cone shaped May Baskets out of bright colored construction paper, using your favorite colors from your crayon box, decorated with your art work? You attached a pretty ribbon, went out and picked wild violets or baked some sweet treats, put them in the baskets and off you went to the neighbors to sneak it on their door knob before anyone saw you. You rang the door bell and ran as fast as you could so they wouldn’t catch you. If they did catch you… they kissed you! It was fun trying to get away and keep a secret whose door you went to.
Tomorrow is May1st…bring back a tradition or with this May SNOW, invite your neighbors for a fun breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sturdiwheat products are so easy and delicious, your neighbors and family will love it!

Pure maple syrup is one of nature’s sweetest gifts. Boiling down the sap of the maple tree makes pure maple syrup. Pure maple syrup is produced in the northern United States and Canada during the early spring months. Minnesota is one of the seventeen states and three provinces that produce pure maple syrup.
Pure maple syrup is a “natural” food that contains nothing artificial, no additives, no colorings, or preservatives. The main sugar in pure maple syrup is sucrose. Small amounts of fructose and glucose are found in the darker grades of syrup.
“ Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day”
To emphasize the advantages of developing a healthful eating plan that incorporates individual food choices and preferences, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics encourages consumers to “Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day,” as part of National Nutrition Month 2013
“There can be a misperception that eating healthfully means giving up your favorite foods,” said Ethan A. Bergman, registered dietitian and president of the Academy, which this year celebrates the 40th anniversary of National Nutrition Month. Bergman added that this year’s theme “encourages consumers to include the foods they love as part of a healthful eating plan that is tailored for their lifestyles, traditions, health needs and, of course, tastes.”
